Hello, Explorers!
You wouldn’t believe how inexpensive it is to create your very own dairy alternative that you can use for your morning coffee, cereal breakfast, or by itself! It is vegan and gluten-free for those of you with dietary restrictions. As a person that enjoys leading a healthy lifestyle, I find It is so delicious, nutritious, and easy to make. Let’s get started!
Ingredients
-Makes 4 cups
1-2 Medjool dates
1 cup of Rolled oats
1 tsp Vanilla extract
4 cups of filtered water
Recipe
Add your oats to a large bowl and add enough water to submerge the oats. Soak for at least 15 minutes.
Add the oats, dates, and water to a blender and blend until a milky, smooth, velvety texture is acquired.
Strain through a nut milk bag or fine mesh sieve. Click here to see the exact one I use from Amazon.
Add Vanilla extract and mix.
Save the pulp to make oatmeal or use it in baking.
Store in glass bottles, refrigerate and keep no more than 5 days. I prefer using these vintage glass milk bottles since the milk tends to last longer. You are also welcome to use any glass bottles that you have!
I hope you enjoy this delicious, easy-to-make recipe. Keep healthy!
Goodbye, Explorers!
